ECFS Technology Working Group
Group for Ethical Culture Fieldston School parents interested in discussing the impact of technology on their children.
In addition to joining our distribution list, you can join these specific working groups:
Facilitate grade-wide discussions on parental alignment
Create a forum for grade-by-grade conversations (PreK-5 at EC and FL) around a potential alignment on smartphones and social media.

Workshops for 5th grade parents looking at phones
Many 5th-grade parents will buy their kids devices at the end of this school year. From the survey Rob sent out, many 5th-grade parents at EC want to do something but don’t want to be the only household doing something different (either waiting on smartphones or social media access).

ECFS school-wide survey
Rob sent an excellent survey to the Ethical Culture community, which helped ground our work. We should send a new survey to the broader school to help us think about ways to support the community and expand the survey to include Fieldston Lower, Fieldston Middle, and Fieldston.
